a mixed experience, some issues

the location was good, close TO the historic center. it made seeing the sights relatively easy.
my room, A superior classic room, had very thin walls. i could hear conversations and noise from other rooms and the hallway. it made it difficult to relax and sleep.

drain smelllacking atmosphere
the drain smell infiltrated the bathroom it stank badly. no alternative room was offered to me. march is not a super busy month so this surprised me. a few shelves with bottles sat near reception it posed as the bar. it lacked a bar person and the nice evening atmosphere i anticipated.

the hotel location was pretty central, making it easy to walk to many attractions.
our family classic room was not great. i found the beds were too soft, i didn't sleep well. also, the noise from the street was loud and continued late into the night.
